The Park Avenue goes through major changes and is again available in two models: Base and Ultra. Changes for this year include the introduction of Stabilitrak traction control for sliding or skidding, new front-seat mounted side airbags, optional heated seats, standard rear child restraint anchors and new chrome wheels for both models. Three new exterior colors are added: Medium Red Pearl, Light Bronzemist and Dark Blue Pearl. Medici Red is a new interior color for this year. Optional features include an Eye Cue (Head Up Display), a power sunroof, an engine block heater and a Prestige Package which is optional for the Base but standard on the Ultra. A Gran Touring Package and a trunk-mounted CD changer are also available.
