My name is Geoff Beck, and I am the proud owner of this 1989 LeSabre T-Type.
This car is rarely seen, because not too many were produced in it's 3-year
history. This particular one was bought brand-new off of the showroom floor
at DeMontrond Buick in Houston, Texas. approaching 120000 miles, it has had
only one critical problem (ECM gave way) but otherwise has been a solid
performer, with it's 3800 V6 that has an output of 165HP and 210Ft-Lb of
torque, automatic 4sp with performance gear ratio, and a GT suspension
package. The front and rear spoliers are damage/weather prone - the deck lid
deteriorated after about 5 years, and the front spoiler is low-slung and
scrapes the pavement often unless extreme care is taken. The only option on
this particular model was the leather interior. After college, this baby is
getting a resto - I also plan to aquire a 1986 LeSabre Grand National (only
117 made, ever).
