1966 Rob Coppersmith

It's a 1966 Buick Special, 4dr. Under the hood is the original 310 wildcat, 2bbl, backed by a 2 speed automatic trans.

My current plans for this car include a Buick 350, with a TH-350, Bucket seats, the brake system out of a 1969 Buick (2 stage power master cylinder), posi rear end, and now, a new front end.

On April 11, 2000 I was driving down I-75, when my entire brake system went out. I managed to get the car down to about 20 mph before a Chevy truck with a 3 foot trailer hitch stopped me. The hitch pushed my bumper through the radiator, and core support. The trucks bumper pushed in my grille, fenders and the hood. fenders arn't too bad because the hitch kept me from going to far into the truck.
