Hi buickgod,
Enclosed as attachments, you will find (some...) pictures of my 1959 Buick Electra Mod 4739, 4 dr HT.
Hope those pictures will enable a nice picture-story about my B59 on your website.
I bought the B59 in Fall 2000 after sold my 1958 Buick Special Mod.41 , 4 dr SD. The B59 came from the US to Sweden in 1998 and was sold by this preowner in Malmoe to a BCG clubfellow over here in Germany in 1999. He sold it to me.
The B59īs exterior was restored abt. five to eight years ago in the US. Back then the paint was changed from Copper Glow to Lido Lavender. Both original Buick Colors in 1959. The interior and trunk are both untouched and in nearly perfect condition. The B59 has its first 401 cui/ 325 bhp Nailhead V8 & Twin Turbine Dynaflow automatic trans. Also it has p/s, p/b, Automatic Thermostat Heating, Sonomatic Tube Type Radio, Clock, Tinted Windows & original Buick-Accessory Spare Tire Cover. The 1959 Buicks were the first to have an Electric Wiper Motor & Washer Pump.
If you need more details of the car and its history, please let me know.
Best Regards
