1955 Roadmaster Tom Garvey

This is my '55 Buick Roadmaster sedan- bought recently (May 2001) from a German mechanic who had one too many cars. It's in the early stages of a daily-driver restoration, soon to receive a new two-tone paint job. I believe the paint on it now is original!

The suspension needs some work but the car drives fine. These '50s era cars
are built like tanks. So much power under the hood that Buick got away with
putting a 1-speed auomatic (Dynaflow) in the car! If you floor the pedal
the car will downshift for passing but normally it never shifts at all and
this was normal. 322ci I believe somewhere around 270 hp. Car seats 7
easily ( try finding that in a modern sedan).
