1967 Bruce Renfrew

Bruce Renfrew
The car is fully 'unloaded' having only power steering ( no windows, air, seats etc ) and was originally custon built for Frank Day Jnr ( who obviously thought all those additional bits and pieces would slow the car down ). This car spent the first 29 years of it's life in Ohio and yet the body work is remarkable condition. Very little reclamation work was needed during the body restoration. Mechanically the car is now as new. This is the standard 340 hp specification with the single 4 barrel Rochester and 3.42 axle.
I was careful to ensure absolute authenticity during the engine rebuild even down to procuring the correct buick red engine laquer and exhaust header paint. The camshaft came in it's original 30 year old packaging. The car has already won a best of show and I will be contesting it regularly through 1997.
